One Ohana believes that every human deserves the chance to express themselves through the arts!
One Ohana provides scholarships to individuals who wish to experience the magic of dance by beginning or continuing their dance education and wouldn’t otherwise be able to due to age, ability, or socio-economic status.
Scholarships may be awarded for up to $500 per individual per dance year (September - June). These funds may be used to cover the cost of tuition or fee(s) associated with taking dance classes.
One Ohana, Inc. will be awarding scholarships for the 2024 - 2025 dance season. The application submission period is: MAY 1, 2024 through JULY 31, 2024.
Applications will be notified of funding decisions by: August 31, 2024.
Eligibility for a scholarship through One Ohana is determined by the availability of funds, as well as the following criteria and guidelines:

The scholarship recipient must reside in Hampshire, Hampden or Franklin Counties and be between the ages of 18 months and 100 years old.

Applications will only be considered for the tuition cost/fees associated with taking a dance, movement or performance class.

Applications will not be accepted for the cost/fees associated with competitions,
conventions, workshops, and costumes or for services already rendered or tuition balances. -
Applicants must provide a clear explanation as to why the recipient wants to take dance lessons and the benefits it will bring them or the benefits you believe it will bring, if applying for dependent/child.

Applicants must demonstrate financial need.

If awarded, scholarship payments are provided directly to the studio, center or individual providing the services or to the recipient, if requested. One Ohana will work directly with contact person provided in the application to arrange scholarship payment.
